Love photography, and want to test all the latest gear? Tom’s Guide is looking to expand its coverage of cameras, and is looking for a contributing editor. （ Freelance）
The contributing editor will maintain all of Tom’s Guide’s camera and photography-related pages. This will include monthly updates to all of the “Best” pages, as well as tips, guides, and related stories.
In addition, the contributing editor will also review the latest cameras for Tom’s Guide, and suggest others to call in and review. The contributing editor will also suggest other how-to stories and content to supplement the reviews.
This camera contributing editor should be a self-starter, be well versed in photography and have written camera reviews previously. Owing to the number of pages, this person will have to be able to juggle multiple deadlines simultaneously, and work with the Senior Editor to set priorities.
Tom’s Guide’s camera coverage is focused on novice to enthusiast photographers who are either looking to purchase their first camera, or upgrade to something more advanced. In addition to providing them on camera-buying advice, we also seek to give users information on how to get the most out of their cameras, either through user guides or general photography tips.
